Charles Lutwidge Dodgson

Lewis Carroll was really Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Carroll was six feet tall, slender, handsome, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was somewhat asymmetrical and carrying himself rather stiffly and akwardly. He was an English author, mathematician logician, anglician, and photographer. Since Carroll was a young boy he wrote peotry, and short stories which were in the family magazine and then later were published in various magazines. When Carroll did photography his subjects were mainly young girls.
Lewis Carroll wrote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to tell to his friends wife and their three daughters. A hookah is a single or multiple stemmed water pipe used for smoking. During the time that the story was written the hookah was used for medical purposes. Carroll included the hookah in the story because the caterpillar was a symbol of wisdom and during that time people who smoked a hookah were supposed to have more wisdom.
Other than writing Carroll was famous for photography but the thing that he was most famous for was photographing young nude girls.
We think that this is an appropriate book for school because it is mainly a fantasy book and everything that is in the book doesn't have to be taken seriously.
